This has got to have been one of the cheesiest songs from the nineties next to their other song ‘Dr Jones’. A song about what it’d be like to live as a Barbie, you know, just in case if you ever wondered what it would be like to be a plastic figure with ridiculous expectations of what a body should look like. Thanks for that. The singing almost sounded fake to a point too, perfect vocals to sing about living a Barbie life.

Besides sexual theme of the song that is undoubtedly hidden by the happy wacky music and singing, it’s a classic of the nineties that gained itself to be in the top ten charts in 1997 and the album Aquarium went straight to number seven. Everyone loved the song, either that or they acted like they did, it would be played in school discos, on the radio and in bedrooms.
